Dr. Murphy received his B.A. degree in pre-med from Canisius College in 1995 and a B.S. and Doctor of Optometry from P.C.O. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Since his arrival in 2000, he has been handling triage patients, prescribing eyeglasses and fitting contact lenses. He handles the pre- and post-operative routine care of cataract and refractive patients, as well as detecting and managing ocular disorders.
