Dr. Genovese graduated with honors from Canisius College with a B.S. in Biology. She furthered her education and received her degree in Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry in 2002, specializing in Refractive Surgery and Sports Vision.

In 2004, Dr. Genovese joined Fichte, Endl & Elmer Eyecare to specialize in pre- and post-surgical care for refractive and cataract surgery. She also manages primary eyecare for the entire family.
