Dr. Endl is a native of Western New York. His desire to return to Western New York and practice state-of-the-art ophthalmology in our community makes Fichte, Endl & Elmer Eyecare the perfect home for him.

He has written chapters in ophthalmology textbooks, presented research at international ophthalmic meetings and received numerous awards for his work.

Dr. Endl graduated Magna Cum Laude with numerous honors from the University at Buffalo medical school, and then went on to specialize in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. In his fourth year of residency, he was elected chief resident and studied with two of the country's leading experts in eye surgery.

Now partners with Dr. Fichte and Dr. Elmer, he performs the latest techniques in laser eye correction as well as IOL implants to correct refractive errors. Cataract surgery is another of Dr. Endls specialties, which he performs over 600 times annually. Other areas of his practice include corneal transplants, glaucoma surgery and diabetic eye care.
