Dr.�Cassata received her B.A. degree in pre-Medicine with a concentration in Gerontology from John Carroll University in 1999. She went on to obtain her Optometry degree from NSU College of Optometry in 2004.

She currently examines patients for: pre- and post-operative care, routine eye exams for glasses and contact lenses, emergencies and red eyes. Dr.�Cassata has helped to expand our abilities to examine the pediatric population by working with Dr. Elmer, our Pediatric Ophthalmologist. She also currently examines patients at the nursing home level.
