Kathleen A. Otto, Coordinator of Marketing & Outreach at Fichte, Endl & Elmer Eyecare was recently invited to present at AMOU. An annual international Marketing conference put on by Abbott Medical Optics (AMO) was held this year the in San Diego California on Fri April 17 2015. Kathys’ talk was on the topic of how to host successful educational events within the practice and covered Open House events, Webinars and Lunch and Learns. The audience was a diverse mix of seasoned marketing professionals, doctors and practice administrators. The lecture was well attended and well received and Kathy was thrilled when the organizers of the event encouraged her to speak again in the future. ” It was such a positive experience and I was happy to be able to share my expertise with a room full of industry pros” stated Otto. She said enthusiastically…. “If they want me to come back next year …sign me up!”
Several others also made the trip out to California from the practice including Practice Marketing Director Kevin O’Brien, Practice partner/owner Michael J Endl MD and Practice Administrator Paul Anthony . The day was filled with education and networking and representitives from the practice attend every year.
