The ASC of WNY, a local ambulatory surgery center is the first in WNY to aquire the LenSx® laser. This laser is FDA approved to perform laser cataract surgery and will be used by 9 Ophthalmologists who operate at this facility. The LenSx® Laser is a fully integrated, image-guided femtosecond laser designed specifically for laser refractive cataract surgery. Using a customizable 3-D surgical platform, it allows the surgeon to visualize, customize, and perform many of the most challenging steps of cataract surgery.
